  1. OK, heres some truth. When you get seperated it will say on the paperwork you are given whether or not you can re-enlist and if so it will say how long you must wait to do so. Also it will say whether or not you are on the ready reserve ( you know what that is I hope ).

With that said, I believe that the military isnt the place for you and you should probably get a good civilian job rather than put yourself and the service through all this mess again potentially.

When this type of stuff happens the whole unit and other soldiers must fill in the "gap" that you created by not being able to handle your problems.

Now Soldier I am not being mean to you I am giving you  the truthful answer you are seeking.

    Good Luck

  2. Hi, hopefully I can help you a bit. My husband is an army recruiter and he said that if you got discharged because of severe depression there is a two year wait before being able to rejoin. You would have to after those two years get evaluated by a pyschologist before they will let you back in to make sure that you are better. Hope that helps.

  3. Your best bet would be to talk to a recruiter.  I am a veteran from the USAF,and although they do discharge for medical reasons, they typically try to work through it.  Go talk to an Air Force recruiter.  Worst possible case, they tell you no.  But, I wouldn't think that they would.
