I'm a college student living off-campus all by myself. I can't afford to drive back home to see the folks, I have no money to go see a movie and none of my friends are free to hang out tonight. I'm going crazy with loneliness and it's only 6PM here. What should I do?

  1. Since you've posted this question, it's clear you have the internet so here are some options:

    1)  Peruse odd job ads to quickly earn a little cash so you can broaden your options for something to do.

    2)  Yahoo!Games

    3)  Hulu.com

    4)  Netflix instant videos (if you're a member)

    5)  Have a healthy snack to eat

    6)  Browse photos on line

    7)  Check tvguide.com to see what's on right now.

    8)  Find some on line books to read, maybe some excerpts on Amazon.com.

    9)  Take random pictures of your place from weird angles like from lying down on your couch or bed.

    10)  Take a walk outside around your neighborhood and people watch, take pictures of nature and/or animals.

    11)  Journal while listening to music and sipping a drink.

    12)  Search to find interesting places to visit in your town that are free.

Good luck!  I remember what is was like to be a broke college student.  It'll be over and you'll be in the money before you know it.

  2. play with the little man in the boat

  3. Go have some fresh air! Go walking, if there is a park or something better then! Read a book, some homework! haha.. idk! Think that there will be better times, and once you graduate from whatever you do, then you can look back at these days and have a laugh.

  4. Go walk around and explore town.  Later on hit the bar and I'm sure some one will buy you a drink.  Then go dancing.

  5. Try getting a job you like parttime or invest in a xbox 360 many fun games on it :D

Also you can read a Bible.....very preductive.

  6. I have someone who can help http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DVxzU8fP...

  7. You could always write up a resume and try to get a job where you'd be interacting with lots of people.  Jobs are a good thing.
