  1. It is suggested that Pabst is the New King of Beers. Pabst is made in Milwaukee, and was founded in 1844.

I don't drink beer, myself, but I agree with you on a boycott. I would also if I drank it, but I know one person who does, and I will inform him.

So what I have for you is a list of American beers you can try, and also a blog about this very subject, which may help you in your decision on choosing a new beer that is American.

    Bless you, for your Patriotism!

  2. Well I don't drink beer - I do however make an EXCELLENT beer bread!

  3. Shlitz

  4. I'm safe, I always liked Coors Light!  So go ahead and boycott.

    I approve this message :)

  5. I'm not concerned about AB being Belgian-made as long as it's American made -- and it will be.

InBev paid a large premium for AB and it will likely increase sales of AB's products overseas.  That's good for American workers.

We used to be buyers in the international marketplace.  Now, due in large part to the decline of the dollar, we are sellers.  The Dollar has lost 60 percent of its value versus the Euro since 2000, so we no longer sit in the Big Chair.

InBev must have big plans for AB in the international market.  If not, why would it have paid such a hefty premium to buy an American company that reports its profits in America's ever declining Dollar?  American companies have always looked at our market first and foreign markets second.  InBev will change that for AB.  I wouldn't be surprised to see AB's export sales grow by 20 percent in the next five years.

The sale of AB may not be good for our pride, but it should be good for our workers.

I seldom drink beer, but Michelob is my choice when I do.  I really like the shape of the bottle.  lol

  6. Dude, you should have boycotted Budweiser for making cheap disgusting beer.  If you want to support AMERICAN, go to any neighboring CRAFT BREWERY that is owned by one of your neighbors.  I mean, anything you buy that is mass produced, you don't know who owns it.  But when you go to a brewery in your town, well, they make their beer right there on the premises.  Don't be such a dolt, there are tens of thousands of micro breweries right here in the states that are wholesome American companies, and they brew quality beer using quality ingredients not the adjuncts and crappy ingredients AB put into Budweiser.

  7. Samuel Adams

  8. Just about everything is foreign owned, at least partially, these days. A benefit of the weakened dollar. If you want an American owned beer, then quit drinking that c**p that comes form budweiser, miller, coors, etc and start drinking a local microbrew.

By the way, what do you do for clothes since very little clothing is from America these days? To quit drinking bud because they are now Belgian owned is kind of pointless. I am sure you are aware of all the parts in your American cars that are manufactured outside the US.

edit: Coors is joined with Molson and is part Canadian, so no go there.

  9. jack  daniels

  10. I'll bet, you  get American beer with your Import car, to go home and watch your big screen Sony TV... :-) Where's your computer from?

  11. dude   that doesent make tooo much sense cause then you should boycott all things unamerican     which is cool to me haha.

but that is American company sold to foreigners that ****** up.

  12. Your boycott is short sighted.....10's of thousands of American workers are employed by AB not to mention supply products to AB.

Forget the boycott...find a beer you enjoy and enjoy.

  13. I'm sorry you are distraught over this,,,  Why not try the Number One imported beer - Heineken?  It's a much better product than anything on the market here.  There are many brands in it's portfolio - including the Mexican brands of Dos Equis and Tecate.  I have shared a Dos Equis (Dos XX) with friends who were avid Bud drinkers - and they have now switched for the better tasting brew!

    Share the Good Everyone!!

    Stay thirsty, my friends!!

  14. maybe you should boycott some of your foreign made electronics, cars, food, and clothes.   Brew your own beer would be my suggestion.

  15. Probably if you make boycott non American things, you should go naked everyday.

  16. try great lakes brewing company. it's good, cheap and good.

  17. chrysler is also by germans. Wasn't budweiser first operated by germans, budweiser blows, but since you are so patriotic i would say miller light.

  18. You would only be cutting the throat of the American people that are still employed by Anheiser Busch.  There are still breweries in America, that employ Americans.

That's like saying you're not going to buy Toyota, because it's a Japanese car, however, Toyota also employees many Americans here in the States, whether it's making parts for the car, in assembly, or in sales.

  19. Miller Lite

    Coors Lite

  20. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston_Beer...

    CHEERS!

  21. it is? Wheres your sources?! i wont believe it!!!

  22. It may no longer be American owned but.......

Americans are still employed at all the American breweries....... if sales start drastically declining due to the sale of the company..... that could eventually cause the loss of the Americans who are still employed at some of the breweries and even the close of some........

I just think it is sad that a family owned American business sold out......

    Now to your question.............

    I drink coors light.....

  23. Yes Anheuser-Bush's sellout to Belgian InBev was disappointing but Anheuser-Bush will still be headquartered in St. Louis Missouri and no US breweries will be closed.  Good idea, boycott this still "American Made product"!
