Question:

I'm breaking out for the first time?!?

Ahhh.

I've never broken out before, and now, the week before school starts, I have pimples on my forehead.

What can I do to make them go away by Monday? Any good products to recommend, or home remedies?

And please don't say toothpaste. It's not like one monster pimple, it's scattered, and I'm not about to smear toothpaste all over my forehead.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Don't eat oily & fatty foods.

Drink LOTS of water. Trust me drinking ALOT of water will help.

Wash your face TWICE a day. Don't be lazy and miss washing your face at night or in the morning.

Keep your hair out of your face. There are oils in your hair that will get on your skin.

Exercising and eating healthy actually does work for acne.

Soak your face in freezing cold water it decreases the size of the pimple.

Don't use Neutrogena it wil dry out your face, don't use proactive it will make you break out even more when you stop using it. & don't use clearasil it has alcohol in it which is bad for your skin.

I reccommend using St. Ives Apricot Wash. It makes my skin really soft and clean, it is amazing! Also try the scrub, but use it once a week.

Don't touch your acne. The oil on your fingers will get on them.

When you wash, it's best to use warmer water to open your pores first, wash with your face wash, then rinse with colder water to close your pores.

    Good luck!

  2. Awh,

reasons why you could be breaking out is because your stressed about school, it could be that time of the month..or its a combination of both.

it could also have something to do with this ridiculous heat.

i used neutrogena oil-free acne foaming cleanser. It comes in a pump-bottle..and the liquid inside is orange-ish. It's gentle, so it wont burn. But its effective as well, and only costs around 5$ in places like Wal-Mart, & Target. You can find it at drugstores too.

Use it when you wake up in the morning, and before you go to bed at night.

Increase your water intake-it will flush out free radicals and bacteria in your skin.

If you like it, drink Green Tea (the hot kind that you brew yourself)

It helps clear up the skin & removes bacteria.

    Also, try to relax !

try to not touch the area with your hands, & try to not let your hair get in the way of it either. Your hair has oils which can irritate the skin.

Avoid wearing makeup (like foundations, concealer) in that area until it begins to clear up.

Definietly don't wear it if you know your going to be sweating.

    Good Luck! :)
