  1. As long as your baby isn't dehydrated you should keep taking the antibiotics. Your doctor obviously knew you were breast feeding so baby should be ok. If you have any doubts don't hesitate to go back to your doctor.

  2. Just keep on feeding, antibiotics upset the gut flora which is why your baby has diarrhoea.  Once you have finished the course the naturally occuring probiotics in your breastmilk will soon help baby get back to normal.

  3. Antibiotics can and do give little kids diarrhoea, I would keep feeding your baby as normal, maybe even add a few more feeds in there so your baby doesn't get dehydrated. There is not much else, until you stop taking the antibiotics.

  4. keep breastfeeding!  do it as often as possible so the babe doesnt get dehydrated.  this is not a good reason to give formula unless severely dehydrated, and there are better choices before giving that.  good luck!
