I'm building a one-sided racquetball wall against the side of a existing pole barn? will framed 3/4" ply work?

the pole barn is 56' long and 18' high ..the wall would be 30x16

  1. Yes,the racket ball is hard rubber and should not pierce the plywood


  2. Yes it will work but frame the wall at a minimum of 2 foot centers..I would use 16 inch centers though...when the studs are too far apart on the frame..You will get a hollow thud when the ball hits inbetween the studs, and the bounce will change drastically
