I'm buying a car soon, I need some ideas?!?

Alright I am turning 16 in November, only about 2 months away....I need an idea on what kind of car i should get, I'm gonna have roughly $1,500 by the time i need to buy the car, not much money i know, but i couldn't get a job for a while being only 15. I need a car with fairly good gas mileage. I'd love to have at least like 20-25 mpg in the city but i doubt I'm gonna get a good car with only $1,500. So if anyone knows a type a car that meets those standards then please let me know! Thanks!

you can get early to late 90's honda accords or civics. mileage might be high but what do you expect for 1500 dollars.

Find a good one owner Toyota corolla.  My wife's gets 35 mpg on the road.  It's a 4 cylinder and runs like a top.

With only $1,500 you are going to have a real hard time finding a car. Your best bet is to either wait until you get a job and get more money or if you really need a car now check out http://www.craigslist.org and see what they can offer you.

Any NISSAN is a good choice.They last forever and you can get really good gas mileage.

If you are buying used car then I think you should go with reputed brand like honda, toyota. And please don't forget to show the mechanics before you buy it and get carfax report as well. Because you don't want to waste your money afterwards. Good luck.
