  1. i hope your kidding... if you've never gotten a chance, getting a mustang is the most dumb and brainless ideaon earth. try lessons.. and maybe a trained breed

  2. I come over with my camera when you try to ride 'em for the first time.

Then I can get some cash when I send it to America's Funniest Home Videos.......

  3. I hope you're not serious!? You should take riding lessons, and do reseach before you even think about owning horses! Those poor animals, you probably just want one because they are cute, or the idea about owning horses and a foal(s).

You won't even know how to take care of them!! (ie; brushing, feeding, cleaning, etc!!). Instead of risking some poor horses' lives, start riding lessons!

  4. YOUR KIDDING RIGHT. tHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ANIMAL ABUSE. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HORSES AND IF THEY WERE TO GET INJURED OR ILL AND WHAT ABOUT ETTING THEIR FEET DONE, ALSO GRAIN AND HAY AND WATER AND VET? YOU KNOW NOTHING START OFF WITH RIDING LESSONS!!!!

  5. I dont suggest getting a mustang for your first horse...they are pretty wild! I think that it is wonderful that you are rescuing these mares.... but it makes me nervous for you. BUT... If I cannot change your mind.. My advice would be HIGH fences (they say 6ft for mustangs) STRONG halters and lead ropes and TONS of patience.. good luck!

  6. ok, on your next question, yd you point out JUST BARREL RACER!? because she was the first one?! your not gonna get any serious answers here. also, dont breed 'just because you want your mares babies' stupid. also, you dont even know how to ride, so i would at least know how to feed and take care of one before you BREED one!? jack***! horse***! freak! backyard breeder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hope i helped the frickin mental retarded people today!

    amber

  7. I think you are just a troll trying to get a response out of honest horse people.

  8. omg..yeah I've got some advice, DON'T DO IT.  How irresponsible.  Please do not contribute to the overpopulation of horses.  And tell your friend to geld her stallion, since I'm about 99.9% sure it shouldn't be one.

  9. you better be joking

  10. Yes. My advice is DON'T BREED. please please please please please please please.

The horse market is SO bad except for the top-of-the-line competition horses, so unless you think your horses are eventually going to be worth more than 25k then the market that they are in is NON-EXISTENT. SERIOUSLY. NO BREEDING. What you're doing is contributing to the large amount of unwanted, starving, neglected horses, rescues are full. Want baby horses? Go to the local auction and pick some up for 25 bucks. Besides, breeding with the special feed and vet visits as well as foal care amounts to THOUSANDS of dollars per horse!!!

There is NO market for mustangs. By breeding those horses you will be doing something drastically irresponsible, get my drift?

Besides, horse breeding is NOT for beginner horse owners. Tell me you even know the expense(not to mention the physical labor of barn maintanence) of keeping horses?

    EDIT;

    WTF??!!

This is SO disturbing on so many levels. NO. You need an electric shock collar, every time something stupid comes out of your mouth you get zapped until the stupid is cooked out of you. It is IRRESPONSIBLE to just BREED for the h**l OF IT!!! YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE STARVING, DYING, DEAD HORSES OUT THERE BY FLOODING THE MARKET WITH UNWANTED LOW-END HORSES. DO YOU UNDERSTAND? DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE LEVEL OF IRRESPONSIBILITY? WHY IN THE h**l ARE YOU CREATING MORE UNWANTED HORSES WHEN WE HAVE PLENTY OUT THERE SUFFERING RIGHT NOW?!?!

now, is that getting through your skull?

  11. Don't breed!!!  Worry about your 4 horses first and then in the future if you can do what ever you want, and with all the prices of things you might want to hold back for awhile, especially with the price of hay.  Unless you make a lot of money and can afford a lot of horses it is your choice.  But think before you decide because you don't want to get your hands too full and then have to have them taken away because they are to much.  ONLY IF YOU ARE HEAVILY INVOLVED WITH HORSES SHALL THEN YOU CAN BREED!

  12. mustangs would not be my first suggestion to a new horse owner. my first suggestion would be quarter horses. if you really love mustangs though, i would say try to find mellow ones. depending on the temperment of the mustang, i would just lunge the mustangs before riding. lunge them for about an hour. this will wear them down and decrease your chances of getting hurt while attempting to ride. but i dont know, maybe these mustangs are really good and already know how to ride. out of them all, choose the one that is mellow and willing to learn. best of luck! ((:

  13. Oh.My God, you HAVE got to be kidding. Never got the chance to ride???? So, you'll just hurt the horses WHILE getting injured yourself?!?! You're prob, thinking, no I wont hurt the horses. You will be though! You will diminish their chance too become actually WORTH something since you dont know ANYTHING about horses. And then you go on to BREED them?! The horse market is going down, very quickly! And now, you want to add 2 worthless, untrained horses to the sell list!?!?!? YOU ARE OUT OF YOURE MIND! Those poor horses are going to get hurt or sick and YOU wont know what to do when they do!

  14. this is horrible.

you are sending ALL of these horses to their deaths,

you don't know the first thing about horses, and your buying FOUR UNTRAINED (probably fugly) horses and then breeding them to a stallion who I'm betting should have been cut as soon as he dropped.

if your serious, its people like you who have messed up the horse world so badly.

  15. The "Horsey" kill buyers will LOVE you!

  16. i dont think there is a such thing as a PMU mustang. Is there?  I have a PMU Clydesdale...they usually use draft horses in PMU farms because of there big bladders. I wouldnt reccommend a mustang as a first horse...they will kill you. They probably have never been touched in a pleasant and affectionate manner. The colt that I had was a handful and he was only 6 months old...and he had never been touched, and Clydesdales are gentle giants....their demeanor is so much calmer than a high strung mustang. Mustangs are naturally wild at heart...they have a spirit about them...that will never be tamed...like the cartoon movie...that is pretty true. I owned a mustang for about a year, and he allready had some basic handling, and he put me in the hospital.

You seem young...trust me...you dont want to end up with a broken neck...or a sore back for the rest of your life. Get some experience with horses first.

As for the breeding...DONT...the colt will be just as wild as the mares! The mother will more than likely try and kill you if you try to touch her baby...she will be wild and working on instint. There are sooo many unwanted horses in this country that are available for adoption, please dont breed more unwanted horses. Horses shouldnt be bred unless you have a definate home waiting for the foal...and there is an exceptional pedigree, that will better the specific breed. Mustangs are considered the "mutts" if you will, they are not a respected breed, and dont have a good rep. And you MIGHT get $100 for a mustang foal. Think about it first.

An older...calmer...trained...experienced horse would be better for your first horse.

  17. For starters, I've never heard of PMU mustangs, but then again, I may just be not completely informed on that.

You are a complete idiot! Please do not breed those horses. Don't even get them! You're not intelligent enough to be a responsible horse owner. PLEASE don't.

  18. seriously, you belong on Fugly horse of the Day blog, I mean,  DON't BREED.  There are plenty of horses out there needing adopting.  and if you have never had the chance to ride, I would DEFINATELY not start out with pmu mustangs.  If you seriously HAVE to buy a horse(which you don't) without knowing anything about them, then make it a old gelding maybe, BUT I DO NOT RECOMEND IT ONE BIT.  Your heart is in the right place, but your head ain't wrapped tight.

  19. your joking....... right?????

  20. don't buy them you shouldn't even be aloud to own horses

  21. you do know how this is all going to end right?  Your going to sell the foals for a profit so you can feed your others then they will then be sold and sold untill they are sold to someone stupid just as yourself and they will be beaten, abused, and neglecked.  And probably die at a very young age. MOST WILL STARVE, DIE, AND SUFFER!!!! So if I was you I would first get a better education on horses and NOT BREED just buy them for pleasure riding please. There are thousands of horses that ARE suffering from neglect and cruelty. If you really love horses just adopt some and care for them and try to make a difference in the world. Then try to see from their point of view on how they see humans.

  22. Is this up for darwin award contestant?

  23. Okay do you know that five acres isn't enough space for what will be 6 horses (four plus two foals)?  You will have to feed them extra to keep them healthy.

Do you know how much hay is in your area and that they will want about 20 pounds of hay each a day plus hard feed and your mares in foal will need more food again while they are in foal and feeding?  Have you sufficient income to pay for this.

Do you know that every horse will need the farrier every six weeks and the vet and the horse dentist at least once a year? That is as long as nothing goes wrong and you end up with a huge vet bill.

Do you know anything about foaling - 95% of mares foal fine, 5% need help, and when they need it they need it urgently. Can you tell the difference between a normal foaling and a problem one? Does your vet make 2am visits? Are you good at getting up every two hours to check your mares?

Do you know how much work six horses are? Have you mucked out six stalls twice a day, fed and watered six horses, trained six horses (ongoing).   Believe me six horses is a whole lot of hard work.

Really you should start a lot slower. Get some lessons. Find a horse you enjoy riding and get another one (maybe someones old friend looking for a retirement home) for a friend for the first horse.  That will keep you busy.

  24. My advice - don't feed the trolls, it only encourages them!

  25. this is wrong and concerns me on so many levels....but it's your right to ruin these horses...have fun with that

  26. Well...you already heard the answers.  Answerers don't get thumbs up for no reason.  Get a My Little Pony and brush it's hair, braid its tail, that should stave off your need for horses for at least a couple minutes. Do you kids go to school anymore, gosh our education system must really be in the dumps because NONE of you little girls can string an intelligent sentence together.   Mulereiner...LMAO, there have been a couple Darwin candidates on here today.  Where do these people come from?

  27. OMFG!!!

    :headdesk: :headdesk: :headdesk:

  28. You stupid ignorant moron do you have any idea how much horses cost  nobody wants your fugly pmu mustang babies now and once the cuteness wears off you wont want them either they will end up stuffed into a trailers driven to Mexico and stabbed to death before cut open and gutted. You are an idiot . I see tons of those babies at auction every month with the same stupid owners thinking they want their own horse's babies. Those babies end up bloody chopped up messes at a slaughterhouse in Mexico or being used for tripping  Do me a favor and don't even think about it . You wanna play God get some d**n sea monkeys .

  29. wow ok so THIS is the post everyone on your other post was raving about...... yeah your an idiot thats all I'm gonna say... have fun reportin me cause hehehe red dot time. if you don't even know what a "girl horse" is called and a "baby horse" is called well then you don't need a horse.  You know after reading this I believe I WILL send this to the FHOTD blog..... hopefully that will give ya some humble pie and maybe some sense though since you can't spell i seriously doubt that it will... Good Lord everyone let's please pray for the horses this dummy is about to get and not properly take care of.......

  30. So I would have to agree with everyone on here. DO you have anyone with you that is knowledgeable about horses? I understand you are trying to do the right thing and get PMU horses and such, but four? and then breed them? That is going to be sooooo expensive and soooooo much work. Have you ever even taken a horse lesson or been around them? I am at a loss of words. I've owned horses my whole life and its always a learning experience. Maybe you should just get one and take lessons with it. I don't want to sound mean like everyone else I just hope you realize what your getting yourself into.

  31. "You're joking"...isn't an answer....he did ask for advice and there's no harm in giving that.  More advice, less "opinion" is a little kinder...He's asking for direction.   Not the Italian salute. Capiche?  Don't write checks you can't cash.

For those of you who provided constructive advice...more power to you.  (Troll or not). Ohhh, I see we still have people on board with anger problems...tsk.  .  Next question..............
