It says "Name on card" and I filled that in, cause I'm not stupid, and then underneath it says "Friendly Name"

It's required, so i can't just skip it, but does anyone know what it is!?

Thanks,

Em

  1. Youre name on card is obviously name on card, just like you said... WOO GOOD JOB! :)

Haha.. You're friendly name is like, what you want to be called. So if you're name is something stupid like... PenisMeister Von Dickerstinker or something like that, you can put what you're like to be referred to as, like... Peter Smith or something like that :P just because alot of people don't typically go by the full name on their card. If that were the case, I'd be called by my stupid old middle name along with my first name ALL THE TIME. Its really just a courtesy thing. If you're ever confused by stuff like that, just put your full name, or just guess at what seems most likely, chances are the worst that can happen is the form will come back rejected (so you'll know right away).

  2. The name on card will be your name as it appears on the card, which is likely your full name with middle initial.  Let's say, for random example, this is "William P Smith".  I believe, when they ask for a 'friendly name', they are asking for what you normally call yourself - say, "Bill Smith".   Something for the customer service reps to call you when they talk to you.  At least, that's what it sounds like to me.

  3. The only think I can think of is that it was your "nic" name.  I have honestly never seen that before and I shop online all the time
