I'm coming down with a sore throat and stuffiness???

Anybody got any ideas for getting rid of it? My throat is like REALLY raw.

try gargling with warm salt water. It taste horrible but it work.

drink alot of liquids, especially water, (it will flush out all the bacteria) and take it easy today, get lots of rest. also take a spoonful of lemon and honey that soothes the throat.

If warm salt water gags you try gargling with tepid tea.  Or alternating both..my preferred method.

Wow, some interesting ideas .......

1. Take some allergy or decongestant medicine that you use

2. Gargle with warm salt water

3. Drink warm peppermint tea or herbal tea with honey. Mint and honey have natural soothing elements that with help the raw feeling in your throat.

4. Dress warmly and keep your body temperature up.

2 oz honey, 1 oz JD, juice from half a lemon. Warm slightly, mix well, spoon it up.

You could have allergies.  It's getting close to fall and mold is out.  Take an antihistamine and decongestant.  If it gets worse, it could be a sinus infection and you will need antibiotics.  Hope you feel better soon.

Open wide......wider.

Try some Claritin....clears the nose and will get rid of any post nasal drip which may cause your sore throat.
