I'm confused, I thought she was a hen, but now I don't know........

I posted awhile back a chicken found me and I thought she was a she then she start crowing, Im confused I have never had a chicken before so this is all new, Help

only roosters crow.

If its a rooster it will have a big red thing on there head and chickens dont crow They Cluck! let me try and right you more info

The tail short=hen

long tail=rooster

Its a rooster hens do not crow.
