I'm confused, should I get the silver or the black iPod classic?

is the ipod classic any good??? is there a better player?

I have the iPod classic in black. But it is up to you what colour you go for.  You get 80gb storage. I have 967 good quality tracks in mines which has taken up about 9.80gb space. So there is more than enough room on it for more music. I think you should go for it!

I love the iPod.  I refused to buy it for a long time and owned some different MP3 players before I finally got a chance to fiddle around with an iPod, and I was hooked.  The biggest gripe I have with it is the format the songs come in from iTunes.  They are a special format and they can't be played on some devices without being converted to MP3.  Other than that, I have been totally happy with the iPod.  Also, the vast majority of accessories out there are for the iPod.  That said, color choice is up to you.

I have a nanopod and love it - it is black but you can get covers. Get a balck on wiht a silver cover.

Ipods are all good with loads of memory and you can look through all the songs a lot easier than mp3 players. Nanos very good if you can afford it, but classics are still good and they have a bigger screen. I would say black looks better than silver.
