Just found out.They own Dish.

  1. They can provide you with DISH satellite. Dish may be bundled with a AT&T phone. But if you only want Dish, apply directly to Dish, and you will have a DISH account. There is an internet protocol technology based TV by AT&T, Its called AT&T U-verse. The tv signal is being distributed via broadband technology. It is available in some areas and yes it is owned by AT&T.


  2. AT&T owns U-verse, it's problem laden IPTV solution.  AT&T has partnered with Dish Network, an independant, publically traded company so AT&T sells for Dish Network.

    AT&T did make a splash about buying Dish Network, but the sale never was completed.
