I get confused a lot with terr,ct, and pl !!! Can you tell me which ones are streets or aveunues?

  1. Miami is right - but the word is C.R.A.P.  Court, Road, Avenue, Place


  2. I wish someone would publish this somewhere.

    The easiest way to remember this is C.A.P.  

    Court/Avenue/Place they all run the same direction in Miami-Dade County (North/South).  

    Just about everything else is a Street/Drive/Circle (runs East/West).

    Miami-Dade County address for the most part run on a grid.  The center of this grid is Miami Avenue and Flagler Street.  So a Northwest address lies to the North and West of Miami Ave and Flagler Street.  To decode the address the first two digits of the address indicate a cross street...example

    1234 NW 27th Street  The first two digits tell you this is near the intersection of 12th Avenue and 27th Street.
