  1. How old are you?  If you have 18 years experience than you are even to old to enter as an Officer.  You have to be under 35 at the time of commsioning even for Professional.  You must also adhere to all physical standards and yes, you will deploy

  2. even professionals seeking  a Direct Commission must  meet age and physical requirements.  do you?

you can expect to deploy even as a Dentist.

  3. Don't think you can you have to be in BMT before you are 29.

  4. Are you still eligible to join? How old are you?

    No previous military experience?

In the AF you will most likely be assigned to a clinic or Medical center with a possible 6 months deployment in Iraq or Afghanistan.

We have AF bases in  Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, California, Maryland, Washington state, NJ,Virginia, Missouri,Hawaii, Alaska,  or overseas in Korea, Germany, Italy, Azores,Turkey, etc...

It all depends on what you and your family decide on.

See an AF Officer (Medical/Dental) recruiter.

  5. If you are older then 42, I don't think it can be waived. Officer age can be waived up to 42 in the Air Force. Another option is to be a civilian dentist on a base. I am sure they would hire you on the spot!

  6. My grand daughter( Nurse) and husband( computer program er) are AF , he with 25 years in she with 12 years in. They both like Papillion near Omaha the best. They have nice living quarters, and two children. Great schools. Nice area.

God bless you for wanting to serve.
