  1. Any particular reason for Amarillo?  Family, job?  There really are much more attractive cities in Texas.  I am just not fond of hot dry, dirty west Texas.

  2. Depends. Do you come from a big city? Cause if you do its a pretty big change to deal with. Another thing is I believe that's in tornado alley I'm not to sure if that a problem for you. I live in McAllen, Tx which is way down south close to the coast and Mexico. I must say this place is just home for me. If youre interested McAllen is awesome.

Have you considered Dallas or Austin you seem to be close to there. What kind of a job?

  3. Other than being the home of the 72 ounce steak?

    Got nothing

  4. Well, h**l! everybody knows everything is bigger and better in Texas . . . aint that enough?

  5. Nice, small city.  Get a house that you can completely close (air-tight).  On those hot summer days when the breeze is out of the west, the "country sunshine" can be overwhelming.  There's an HUGE stockyard just west of the town.  They muck out the corrals wioth big front loaders, but they just pile it up - they don't haul it away.
