I'm constipated. what to do?

i've been eating extremely healthy for the past year because i was constipated and got GERD a few months back. i suspected it was because of my extremely poor eating habits before. i did colon cleansers and everything and it finally worked but my problem has come again.what should i do?????

  1. Well, you could try prune juice or prunes, if laxatives didn't work so well.


  2. Try lactulose syrup.

    It's gentle,non-habit forming and shouldn't produce reflux.

  3. drink plenty of water and try some gentle exercise daily this would help

  4. You can use laxatives (natural or otherwise) for the initial problem, but afterwards, you want to improve the bacterial culture in your gut. Take probiotics for a while. You can get some at your local health food store...or eat yogurt/kefir. Just be sure that you're getting some with live cultures...if it doesn't have cultures in it, it's pretty much worthless bacteria wise. Also, refrain from taking antibiotics for minor things. If the issue can be solved with other methods, do it the other way. Also be sure to include plenty of natural fiber in your diet...eat plenty of fruits and veggies. And chew your food well. :)

  5. Drink apple juice. This will definitely clear up your problem.
