  1. Why not ... I am sure you can lip read....so what if you are deaf... that is not the end of the world...to me that a minor ***Challenge***...not a disability.... you go for it... hold you head up high and apply... and GOOD luck you can do it!.. Never think never..... or you won't... also say like the little train that could....I can I can  and you will.

  2. I don't know for sure, but I don't see any reason that you shouldn't try. Go for it. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I dont see why you wouldn't be able but perhaps that would be easier if you had some sort of translator while you used sign language to help customers understand more efficiently.

  4. I believe it is against the law to not employ someone who is qualified based solely on a disability. I suppose I could be wrong on that, though. So assuming you are qualified and your deafness doesn't inhibit your ability to communicate w/ others...I don't see why you couldn't work at Starbucks.

  5. go for it!!!

  6. I totally think you can!!! if you can read lips and speak English... then you should get a job there!!! Being Deaf isnt something that should hold you back on something you want to do !!!

I think you should go for it and atleast try so in the end you can say i wanted to and i tried!

  7. you should be able to get the job because jobs are not suppose to discriminate and anyone no matter what the reason is.

  8. that's a hard one because you will have to interact with customers through out the shift.... and if you cant hear what the customer wants then there could be an issue.. not trying to be rude... just letting you know... you should have a friend call your local Starbucks and ask the manager about this.
