I see these TV commercials all the time about a little gizzmo that plugs into the wall. It supposedly sends electrical impulses thoughout your home that repels rodents and bugs. Do these really works or is it just a gimmick?

I am not sure never got one for the same reason I figured they wouldn't work. Nothing ever does work the way they advertise it to

my mother had one of the original ones and it did work for her, at least with mice...

Gimmic.  My parents bought one and it never worked.
