I'm curious about glider lessons?

Is there anywhere near Manchester where I could take gliding lessons. I'm only 17, but I've recently taken an interested in this, then maybe when im older, working and have the money take flying lessons. If you can answer this question, can you please tell me the prices, time it takes to complete the course and any other valid information, thanks.

Even though you are only 17, you could have actually become a licensed glider pilot at 16.
