I'm curious about this sickening bug that I have found in my house too many times..?

Question

I'm currently at my summerhouse which is in Pennsylvania and we're in the middle of a forest so there are a lot of bugs around us. However, last night in our guest bedroom we discovered more than 1 (at least 8) of these ant-like bugs with what seemed to be pinchers on their rear ends. They're black and look something like ants except they have orange pinchers or stingers or something like that. I really want to find out what it's called so I can find out how to keep them out of my house. Thanks to all who reply.
