  1. Yes. Equality is nothing more than women's liberation, where women wanted an equal voice in the world they live in. Feminist want t o rule the world because they have a v****a.

  2. This isnt as cut and dry as it would seem.

At the heart of the issue.....men and women are equal.

yes they are the same on a moderate level, and the majority of feminist fall under this.

There however are radicals under both groups....that dont fall under the basic definitions. Some radical feminist push, the female cause beyond what it should be and are sexist against men.  Some equalist, are flat out sexist against women pushing the "equal but "different"....so we should protect women from the evils of the world...like a career"

Another big difference, equalist isnt a real movement (with the acception of a few yahoo answers members)

  3. Not in my world.  I understand that in my mom's day and my grandma's day that feminist were pretty radical but today I do not see that feminist are the same at all.  They are involved in many causes and believe in equality for all people, I do not even think more so for women.  Its more like women who want to make a difference in the world.

  4. Feminist: Some one who fight for more special treatments and benefits for women

Equalist: Some one who fight for both men and women rights.

    Big different between the two.

Feminist often use "equality" as a Trojan Horse to fool and brain-wash people into supporting their movement..

  5. I think they are the same thing, essentially.  A feminist may concentrate more on gaining equality for women.  I would use both to describe myself.

  6. The only difference is that feminists focus more (not ONLY, but more) on women. The fundamental principles are basically the same.

  7. I think they are basically the same thing. The only difference I'd say is that a feminist believes in both equality for men and women, but fights a little more for women's rights because they have been more oppressed and treated in an appalling way throughout the centuries.

source: feminist who believes in equality for both men and women
