Are actually living for Christ! If so, what keeps you going with Jesus? If not, why do you choose not to be a Christian? If you are a Christian, how has your walk been?

(I'm a Christian and loving every day!)

  1. i am a christian.. i'm 13.. I was baptised when I was 7 and my Christian walk has been rough.. up untill this summer. I realized that it was not that hard to follow christ. I felt like I always needed to be in control of my situation and I alway had to figure things out myslef. But i realized if I just put my trust in God everything else will turn out fine..

and you ARE right not ALL christaina are hypocritical... But very few aren't

it's hard to saying one thing and follow it yourself when you et in that situation

  2. I'd say a couple, two, three, four, maybe five, or six out of a hundred.

  3. yeah i completely agree with ~SpazzyBear~ how can you believe in something that you cant even prove?

i went to a catholic school because my family pushed me to go there and all they did was talk about christ and say how important he was. but alot of the kids never listened because nobody could actually prove that he existed. sure theres the bible but how do you even know that thats real? you dont. you just have to take other people's word for it.

i choose not to believe in all this because you cant actually know all of it happened.

  4. ok i am a 14 year old boy and YES i  am a christian and i am proud!!!

I am absolutely living for my Lord Jesus Christ. what keeps me going is the proof that is all around us. everybody that says the Bible has no proof... well

they found chariot wheels in the Red Sea from when moses crossed

look up a laminin picture    its a cell that holds every cell to each other if you don't feel like looking it up well its shaped like a cross.

there is way more proof to much to put on this little answer.

my walk with Jesus has been great!!!! the Lord has spoken to me and has told me what my calling is so i know he is real. also my church has groups to learn more about him and your walk with him. i am currently in one now and it has shown me SO much more.

and all the christians out there reading this

i just want you to know that in the Bible it says "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord,' will enter to the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven" - Mattew 7:21

so find out your calling and do our Father's will!

and everybody who is walking with the Lord i just want to say good job because in the world today it is very hard.  by the way the Lord is returning soon because Isreal made a peace treaty and that was prophicied in the Bible that it would happen before the end times so good bye and see you on judgement day!

  5. I'm 16, and I've been raised a Christian, but not strongly. we basically go to church on Christmas and easter. aha. But from what I personally believe and what I've been raised to believe are fairly different. What I choose to believe as far as a religion/ god goes.... i don't really know what to call it.I suppose its closest to Buddhism.

  6. agreed with you ---^

    =]

and, I was raised Christian but my parents are Catholic.

Mostly we are Chreaster Christians, going to church on christmas and easter and thats about it.

  7. I'm not Christian. I choose not to be Christian because I don't believe in a god that could send millions of people (some of them realllllly nice people) to h**l just because they don't believe in him. Especially when there's no solid evidence that there's a god at all.

Basically I was raised Jewish but I'm now an atheist because I don't understand how any god could let all the tragedies in the world happen.

  8. I am not really a christian, my parents want me to be but I'm not.  I'm more agnostic, I don't see how they can prove this stuff so I choose not to believe in it.  Like yeah, there may be someone out there that is like the highest of all highs but we can't prove it.  I choose not to be a Christian because my family tried to force it on me, and I never really understood why they looked up to someone that is not around.  So yeah.

  9. I choose not to live for christ because my brother is a youth leader and is a very devoted christian. But all the while he's slammed me into a wall, screamed in my face, and e-mails me calling me a "screwed up *****" and telling me to go die.

I found that all christians are very hypocritical...they never practice what they preach.

maybe not all, but every christian that i've come to know, is hypocritical.

  10. well, my religion, of the family and all is Christian, but, I personally am an atheist, because I just can't believe in something I don't have proves about.

  11. I am a teenage girl (13) living every day and every moment for Christ.  My walk has been wonderful.  Every time something bad happens to my family or friends or friends' families, I ask God to help me with the tough situation, and he is always there for me.  When I start to doubt Christ in those kinds of times, He touches my heart and brings me back to Him.  Even when the world turns on me, I will always know that God is looking out for me and loves me no matter what.

  12. I'm christian. But i'm aginst evangelism it annoys me way too much. I'm presbyterian, always have been, always will be. Um i hope i'm living for jesus, i've got some things going on that i would like to talk over with my preist, but for the most part i havn't gotten much trouble about it, even with having a chastity promise ring (virgin till marrige) some people gave me c**p but i just ignored it.

  13. I'm an atheist, so I don't have any religion or believe in god/jesus/etc.

I feel I can better spend my life if I do what I want and not what ^he^ wants.

A lot of religions separate humans from animals, but the truth is we are all the same thing. We are all living organisms. I believe that once we die, we simply cease to exist.

However, I am open to any religious beliefs and I never look down on someone because they believe in religion. For some people, they gain peace of mind when they have something to believe in, and believing that there is a superior force looking upon us. Who knows, maybe there is. Maybe there isn't.

  14. I'm not a Christian. I was raised to believe whatever I wanted but never wanted to live as a Christian, always been more than happy without religion!

  15. i'm a teen. i pray every night i try to read my bible several times in a week. walking with the Lord and being a teen is kinda hard. especially in the world we live in today but i think my everyday struggle [Christ vs. World] is great because it assures me of my faith. but there's still room for improvement in my life. = ] nonetheless, im happy with the Lord.

  16. I'm not a christian because I was born into a different religion. ♥

  17. So what?

You have to be a Christian to "walk with Jesus"?

    Or is it Catholics too?

Because I'm Catholic, but I don't really go to church or anything.

We go like once or twice a year.

We go for Ash Wednesday and do the entire Lent thing.

    Personally, I don't believe it.

I guess you could really say I'm Agnostic.

I believe some form of a higher power, but I really don't know what it is.

  18. yeah :]. i pray every night. except at sleepovers cause some of my friends aren't that religious and might think I'm crazy. lol. i don't make it to church every sunday. but i try. I'm a Lutheran :]. i think that's how you spell it! lol

  19. As a teen, I was living for Christ as much as I knew how.  What kept me going was faithfully going to church and fellow-shipping with other Christians my age.  Since becoming an adult and starting my own family, I admit that I've drifted away.  I had an unpleasant experience at the church I was attending and have just never been back.  Without that weekly fellowship and worship opportunity, I gradually stopped reading my Bible and other things like that.  Although I'm not out doing drugs and drinking at the bar, I've definitely picked up some bad habits and other unChristian-like behaviors.  I'm bound and determined to get back in church, I just haven't found the right one yet.

*Actually, I disagree.  ALL Christians are hypocritical to some degree.  We aren't all blatantly hypocritical and we don't all do it on purpose, but we are.  That's just the way sin works.  We will tell someone, "you shouldn't get angry when your brother says mean things to you", yet we may get angry with someone a few weeks later because they said something mean about us (bad example, but I'm out of ideas at the moment).  Its just sin, but technically, we are being hypocritical because we just did what we told someone else not to do.  Get what I mean?  Its not just Christians though.  EVERYONE; despite religion, age, ethnicity, lifestyle, etc; does hypocritical things at one time or another.

  20. Not Christian

am proud muslim and am the happiest person in the world that I am :D

can never change my religion for anything else.

  21. I am an 18 yr old girl who is living for Christ every day and loving it. my faith had gotton so much stronger over this past school year and I can really fell him working in me and directing me in the right path. I love living for Jesus and folowing what he wants me to and helping others that dont know Christ. I have deepened my relationship with Christ more by reading the Word and praying more then I used to and I fell like a changed person. I am a teen loving Christ and following in his pathway.

  26. I am christian but i never go to church or pray, I'm just not a religious person and there is nothing wrong with being religious or not religious. Its a personal choice.

  27. I try to live for christ (going to church every sunday and on all days of obligation & whenever i can, doing family prayer every night, going to church events) but its hard to live gods word every single day without somehow messing up :[

  28. I'm not. Not to be rude, but I'm just too repulsed by what the Church has done in the past (and present) to blindly follow them. Centuries ago in Europe, Christians tortured and murdered innocent people for merely not following in their beliefs. Half of the guidelines and beliefs in the Bible were put there by power-hungry men hundreds of years ago simply to gain control over the population.

I'm fine with people who have religion in their life for support and unity and happiness and all that, but I'm not buying it.

My immediate family isn't religious so I wasn't raised to go to Church or even baptized, but all four of the grandparents I've known (step-grandparents included) were religious and a relation of mine is a high-ranked navy lieutenant/clergyman and I have a lot of respect for what he does. He helps the men and women in the navy get through tough times when they're away from home and brings them all together as a big support system. That's fine with me. He's a great man.

But myself personally, I'm not into following a set list of what I can and can't do according to somebody who I haven't met before but apparently loves me, and if I don't follow that list I'll burn for eternity.

and come on people, what's with the whole anti-evolution thing??

you believe in the science humans developed to create products and medicine and gadgets and so on, but you don't believe in the science of where we came from? Be realistic here.

  29. "How has your walk been?"  Do you have any clue how fu*king stupid that sounds?  Overzealous people like you, plus the fact that the Bible is totally fake, are the reasons that I'm not a Christian.

  30. hmm i'm christian. but my parents have never taken me to church. my grandmother always did when i was younger and i loved it. i was the only one out of all my cousins that loved sunday school!. lots of my friends are christians and they make Jesus their first priority. i pray when things get tough. i pray to keep me strong when things get tough but i dont pray all the time. and yes hun you can be christian and not pray. some people have grown up knowing that their family is of christian beliefs but just never go to church. therefore they dont pray. thats how i was thats how i am. except for when i pray when things get bad like i said before. when i have kids i will make an effort to take them to church once in awhile so they know that that option is out there for them. unlike what my parents did for me. but i'm not going to force them to go to church when their older if they dont want to go

  31. I'm a Christian. I just don't really like to go to church and dedicate my life to doing all that stuff. church kinda bores me. i mean if i could find one that makes it fun then i would probably go. But I don't go right now.
