I'm in need of something that has 4wd, is affordable and gets good gas mileage. I need something that's durable and will be good to drive in the winter time. I've been looking into a Ford Escape or a Subaru.

  1. Try the Suzuki SX4 for 4wd and good mileage (Best Choice seen so far) dont think the price will kill u, The Ford's are American muscle but usually 6 cylinder gas guzzlers, Subaru impreza or WRX is a good choice.  Mitsubishi Lancer GT or GSR or an Evo 8 or 9 would be my pick but.......... Check the Suzuki SX4 first

  2. chevy aveo great on gas you should take a good look at them i own one

  3. I suggest the Subaru Legacy if you are looking for a car.  You really can't go wrong with its boxer type engine and one of the best AWD systems in the world.  Plus, it doesn't look to shabby.

  4. Go with the Subaru. They have the logest and best track reccord of all those "awd" vehicles. Not to mention, those little Imprezza's look pretty sporty, and get d**n good mileage.

  5. At present Toyota Innova is best performance car in all SUV's

  6. Subaru's look better and my friend has one and she loves it it does really good on gas!

  7. you need a Ford Explorer, 4wd, definitely affordable, and somewhat good on gas mileage, oh yeah and GREAT during the winter, but I guess that just depends on where you live during the winter time!!

  8. If you need a 4WD SUV, here are few.

    Hyundai Tucson

    Kia Sportage

    Suzuki Grand Vitara

    Toyota Rav4

    Nissan Xterra

As to the cars, The Subarus & Lexus do have 4WD or AWD on their models.

  9. Go to your local credit union and get PRE APPROVED.

Then you have all the negotiating power on your side.

Get a 6 Cyl 4WD for best value and gas mileage.

Check Cars.com if you are buying used. if buying new,

sometimes your local credit union has special dealers they work with. Personally I have not seen good luck with Fords.

I would go to HONDA 1st and look at what they have.

They have the best Car warranties and their cars hold value  for a reason!!!

I have had pretty good luck with my Chevy Blazer!
