I'm currently taking amoxicillin for an infection, is it alright if I take a percocet as well?

I was prescribed percocets for a different injury a few weeks ago but right now I'm suffering from an ear infection and ibuprofen is not helping the pain at all. I know how much percocet I'm supposed to take, I'm just wondering if it's dangerous to mix these two.

Im sure its fine since these 2 meds are commonly given together. But if i where you i would call your local pharmacy and make sure its fine.
