I'm pretty sad too! I cant believe Zheng Jie and Zi Yan lost to the women's doubles team of Spain. I wanted China to win the doubles, or play against Serena and Venus. :[

'Member the last time Viktor and Andy played against eachother? It was in Miami, and then it was a very very close one, where Viktor definitely gave Andy a run for the money. When they play together it's like neck and neck, kind of like a situation where if you blink first, you lose

What tournament is this? Was it in the finals? Anna, i gotta say (not being mean) but what is up with Andy Roddick? Obiously your a great fan of his so you would no. Is he injured again?! Del Porto i can see the loss happening because he is a very good up and coming young player but to lose against Troiki ?! I bet tennis is the best has put a curse on Andy or something he`s probably made a lil voodoo doll of him.. :O shocking.!!! Im going google it see what andy said.

Yes, a great first set and he could have won the first 8 games but instead, the errors started mounting and his serve totally deserted him.

Andy needs to stop playing defensive tennis and get more aggressive. I don't mean hit the ball harder but find more opportunities to come into net or change directions on the point (both difficult for him to do).

He hasnt shown his abilities in quite some time to be honest. At same time with a limited game as he has, with the competition rising out there, he can fall even more easily now.  Roddick is all serve and sadly, not much else. His groundstrokes arent consistent or lasts during a rally. He doesnt possess a backhand, a top spin backhand anyway, which is needed, and he tries to slice much too often. His net play is iffy, and he is way too hyper.  He doesnt want to accept change and improvement within his game. These reasons and more are why Connors left as coach last season. Hes most stubborn and no desire to improve and change up his game.
