  1. About half-way through your meal, tell your server that you'd like to order something to go. That way it will be ready when you're about to be leaving, instead of sitting there with you getting old and yucky while you eat.


  2. order it when your ordering everything else and ask them to put it in a to go tray

  3. I'd let the waiter/waitress know at the beginning of the meal that you're going to get a dinner to go.
