Question:

I'm doing Music as an extra subject for my Junior Cert. Can you give me advice please?

I'm going into 2nd year atm, and I'm doing music outside of school. I had a teacher organised, but we are making sure about her that we want her. I play the piano and the flute, but I only started the flute last year, so I would feel more comfortable doing the piano for my JC, but the teacher I have got (not officially yet) only does the flute.

Can you give me any advice please? You can email me either at lucyjorocks@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance x

  1. I did it as an extra subject too.

You know you can use both instruments? You could play two pieces for each instrument instead of just doing one.

If you feel more comfortable with the piano maybe you should do that but doing both could be nice.

I'm not really sure what you're asking but I hope this helps!

  2. If you can play the two well done.

stay with the one your comfortable with.

  3. I wouldn't recommend giving out your email over the net, it's much safer to use the yahoo answers pm system.  That way you can block and users who are less than friendly.

On the Music front you could look at the JC as an opportunity to improve your flute skills and then when it comes to your LC you'll have more options
