and I need some help with information. The topic is on hiking trails and I'm trying to find info about Guanica State Forest and El Yunque. Google is very vague and I thought I would ask some who lives or has been there for help. Please and thank you! :)

  1. I have been to El Yunque & I can tell you there is a paved road that leads you up the mountain. First you can stop at  El Portal for info & a movie. You will see La Coca Waterfalls by the roadside & then Yokahu Tower where you can climb to the roof & see the view. Then there are places to park  & paved hiking trails to follow. There are 2 trails that take you to La Mina Waterfalls, la Mina trail & Big tree trail. You can swim in the falls. There are also unpaved trails for more experienced hikers. You can go all the way to the top, but the car is only allowed so far then you must hike alot to get there. There is another view tower near the peak.  Here is the map of the trails:
