Question:

I'm doing curls, but my forearm hurts instead of my biceps?

I am doing your regular curls with correct form. After my 10 or so reps my forearm is in pain and as tight as a knot. I compare it with my right forarm and its much much much tighter.

As a result my grip is getting looser it and now my wrist is begining to hurt. The most agrevating part is that my bicep isn't even getting a work out. I feel very little burn and im not sure if much is being done to it.

I have broken this arm as a child, so could that be a factor?

Could this be that I STILL have bad form?

Does it have to do with physiological built up of my arm?

What workout can I replace this with so that my forearm isn't getting worked out, but instead my bicep, the target muscle.

  1. That just means your forearms are weak. The forearms have to work isometrically, so you should try to strengthen them.
