I was thinking about using some kind of summer border around the pictures. I just don't know where to find printable things like that. I have no problem finding regular clip art, but I'm not sure where to look for borders. Anyone know a good site for these kinds of things? Thanks for suggestions!

  1. They actually have borders now on most clip-art programs.  Try them out, they seem very cute.

Also, you can print out pages of a pattern, and then cute borders out of that.  It may take time, but it's totally worth it.

  2. Have you tried the microsoft website there are so many option you may find helpful. The web address is below.

    office.microsoft.com

  3. You may want to try preschoolprintables.com, abctech.com. Preschool printables website has almost everything you need for the classroom borders and area signs check it out.

  4. Beth, I made a printable just for you and posted it on my Request page.  I have a website with free printables and take requests.  I happened to see your question and thought I'd work something up for you.  Let me know if there is anything else you would like to see available for early childhood teachers.

  5. The teacher did this for my son's kindergarten class years ago - She made different pictures and had the kids choose the one they liked best.  My son chose a purple tulip!!!  Butterfly, tulip, caterpillar, bird, dragonfly, ladybug, fish, rabbit, etc.

  6. When I taught pre-school, I found a clip-art mouse and cut the belly out, took Polaroids of each child and placed the photo behind the cut out tummy.  They turned out really cute!

Maybe you could do something like that if your room has a theme.

    Hope this helps!

  7. At Lakeshore you can buy some that include a place for pictures.
