Since it involves alot of kicking....

My legs are double jointed at the top. My shoulders too....

I really want to get into martial arts. I'm fit, i can move around without any pain... but everything clicks really loudly... lol... i'm not sure if i should quit doing anything that makes it happen or just to get on with it.

  1. I think you'll be fine too...

  2. i believe its fine you can still do martial arts it wont affect your body since you are fit

  3. If you can't kick very well you might want to take up a grappling art such as wrestling or jujitsu. You don't have to be nearly as flexible.

  4. Sorry to burst your bubble. But there is no such thing as being double jointed. What you have simply is a very high range of joint mobility and flexibility. If you can do any of these things without any pain then you have nothing to worry about. But if you feel there is something wrong then you should seek help from a Orthopedic specialist.
