I'm downloading a torrent but it started seeding before it finished downloading...?

Is there a reason for this, and is there a way to make it start downloading again? I'm using Vuze

I have never heard of that before, it doesn't surprise me.  Ever since Vuze took over Azureus it's really gone downhill in a hurry.  Take a look at uTorrent (http://www.utorrent.com) it's a great client and hasn't faulted for me yet.

thats quite normal if several peers are all trying to get the same file and there isnt a full 100% file about the people who downloaded upload (seed) this is usually the case even when you are downloading you still upload only at a slower rate

This is normal.  You upload the parts of the file you have and download the ones you don't simultaneously. Just be patient and eventually it will grab a seeder and finish the download.
