i am speechless and depressed. i cant understand whats going on in the camp. no aggression at all. were being bullied left right and centre by these teams. flannery should be in from the start. hopefully alan quinlan can get a run against the french. im so pissed of at eddie at not using his subs early enough. i mean 10 minutes to go?? im signing off before i start cursing.

There was a time when if Ireland won a game - any game - there would be widespread joy.  Now we rate ourselves as potential world cup winners and to me that's just being over-optimistic.  Sure they struggled but they pulled through twice when they could just as easily have folded like the English.  They can only get better and they will.

Thats because they underestimate the power of the oponent...Georgia played as 15 gladiators, with an incredible mawl and physicall power, but they are a bit low in defense tactics and in finishing, but it really impressed me. Ireland to avoid these situations should be thinking in terms of a more globalised rugby rather than only the six and threee nations, thats why they lost against argentina in the 99 WC. I think the coach of ireland didn't even saw a video of georgia, they were overconfident that they would be easy. I'll say that if Argentina beats Ireland they are out of the cup...

It's nice to know that it is not only England and France rugby supporters who are embarrassed about this World Cup. But all the Northern Hemisphere teams are getting shown up so don't take it too personally. Ireland were so predictable last night. If they picked Geordan Murphy they might improve as nobody knows what he is doing, not even him. The teams from the Tri-nations make it up as they go along are going to get it this time, let's hope it's the Springboks.

i'm irish too but i hate rugby, i'm GAA a real mans game. hurling and football, i'm proud to be irish but there is no defeat in playing for ones country, win lose or draw we won by simply being there. i'd be proud to pull on a green jersey.
