I'm feeling suicidal and depressed,what are some things I can do to feel better?

Please don't post stupid answers,this is a serious question and I'm not in the mood for immature people.

  1. you should think about all of the happy things that have happened in your life and then maybe go to a doctor and have them get you some medicine.

    thats what i am going to do  


  2. I am reading a book : Feeling Good from D.Burns. Try it, I was once like you and this book really helped.

  3. Find things to do that excite you, things that get your juices flowing. When your body releases endorphins it creates an environment within in which happiness can be cultivated. Exercise is  good for this as well.  

  4. Just remember that you will not feel any better once you have killed yourself. Even if there was an afterlife, you would be depressed in that afterlife as well, believe me ok?

  5. When you are suicidal and depressed it's time to seek real help. Nothing shorter than a pharmacological or at the very minimum psychotherapeutic intervention will do it. It's not anything someone can just snap out of.

  6. Talking to someone like a psychologist. They can perscribed meds for you that might help and teach you ways to cope and feel better. Spending time with friends helps, physical activities like sports or running, exercising help, things to get the thoughts out of your head like writing poems, stories, and other things help. Try listening to happy music. Things like Shaggy, Sum 41, Bare Naked Ladies, are some people that have happy music. Read about happy things or things that interest you but don't add to your depression. There are hotlines that you can call to get help. Talking to your parents or who ever you live with if you have a possitive relationship with them. Walks are relaxing to many people and that could help calm you down. If you have pets to play with them and take care of them like not just feed them and give them a place to use the restroom, but to treat them nicely and things and they can become like a friend to you. There's nothing wrong with talking to a pet, they'll just sit there and listen and not tell anyone. Also talking extra time getting ready to go places and doing extra things to make yourself appear nice. When you do this you get caught up in it and when you're finished you'll think that you've done a good job at making yourself appear nice. I hope this helps you and you feel better soon! [:

  7. You probably won't believe this, but here goes.

    Exercise is a sure-fire way to beat depression.  The trick is to start it NOW.  Don't wait until you FEEL like it or you NEVER will do it.  Just start walking a little bit and increase it.  Do it as much as you possibly can until you start building up a sweat.  Then do some more, as you will start changing your brain chemicals and you WILL start to feel better and sleep better and think RIGHT again.

    Did you know that there are actual studies that prove that exercise is as good or better than many anti-depressants?  

    But if you actually take my advice and start exercising, and you don't feel better, please, please please get some help.You may need some anyway, as feeling suicidal is serious.

    Please give my answer a shot.  It works many, many times.

  8. if you feel depressed listen to something like you like favorite songs, watch new movies, hang out with your friends, tell or share you feelings with someone that is special to you, it could be maybe your parents, best friend,or favorite cousin... go shopping with your friend, play some kind of a sport with your friends....there's a lot of things you can do in this world! don't bring negative thoughts near you like suicide!!! be happy!!no worries!

All i can tell you is to try and change your negative thoughts into more positive ones, for instance: instead of saying "i cant do this"?, you say, "it might be hard to do this, but i will give it a try"? and instead of "things will never get better", you change it to "things might be bad right now, but it can only get better" etc. When you sink low into the depths of despair, your life can only get better from there, take care...

  10. i spend time with my friends, write dark poetry, learn how to play an instrument, or go to the gym. working out makes me feel happy after, because i did something good for myself and i had a chance to think through my problems.

    umm it helped my cutting when i expressed myself in another way. that might help you...

  11. Now am I study despite the goodness sake of homework and having stress. I still carrying forward to repay my parents who dead since I am young to land me on earth,
