  1. This can be tricky and usually varies from college to college. A counselor at my last college told me that you can apply for Pell until you start to work on your Masters, so this might be why you're having a hard time. In order to complete the form completely and as accurate as possible, go to one or both of these websites

    http://studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebApp/s...

    http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/contact.htm

or contact the FA Administrator at the college you're going to attend and ask them to guide you through the process. I know from working in the FA office that if the form isn't completed properly, it can cause you to received a reduced amount or be denied completely. Good Luck!!!!

  2. If you don't have a bachelor's degree yet, you put down that you are working toward your first bachelor's degree.  If you have a bachelor's degree and are working toward another one, you put 2nd bachelor's degree.

  3. You are working on your first bachelors degree.  Work study is a job you get on campus.  Student loans are money you get from the bank to help pay for your school that you have to pay back with interest.  I would put that you don't know... answering that way will give you the opportunity to pick and choose from all of these things.  They will assume you want the free money first, so no need to worry.  Read this book.  It will help you.
