I'm fit but field hockey stick work is bad,playing intern. game in three weeks, how can i imp. my stickwork.

I need a field hockey stick work program for every day for three weeks also upper body workouts that would help that i can do at home, It would be grate to improve my hitting, i hit very softley and miss the ball allot, i know they chose me for my fitness and running abillity but i would like to be good at everything i do 100%.

  1. well.no one is good at everything 100 percent pros, for example aren't good at 100 percent. you see them missing shots. it is part of the game. no yahoo answers person on here will give you a workout program.you gotta do it at YOUR own pace.everyone's body is different.i have low metabolism, so i have to work out harder than you probably do!


  2. I understand what your saying. For missing the ball, that hand-eye coordination. Like in baseball "keep your eye on the ball" the way that helps me with that is aerial dribbling. Its hard at first and your record starts really low, but if you practice more frequently you will get better. But you will miss the ball no matter what once in a while, but that's part of the game.

    For stick work, dribble around. Take the ball with you outside and for an hour, with brakes and just dribble the ball practice hits, flicks, and dribbling, because the more you do it the better it gets that's just about all you can do. Its one of those things the more experience you have with it the better you'll be. Also do your own made up drills, figure out what you are specifically bad at, and fix it by practicing it drill by drill.
