Question:

I'm fixing to be in charleston at the nnptc! how is life there on the weekends? ?

i just want to know how the weekend life is and can you bring non military onto the campus? is there any fun during a school? just wondering not the i'm not completely focused on school and am gonna do whatever it takes to get threw just want to know if i'll have any life at all out side of the command!

  1. you will like it. just keep this in mind dont base the city your in on the command you are at. when your in training you hate your command. but chareltston is a really nice town. its beautiful, on the water, oh and the women hmm they are amazing. yeah you will like it. im stationed in georgia nad i try to make it to charelston as often as possible.

This is a hard question to answer.  Your availability to enjoy the town on weekends will depend on how smart you are (and even then it will be somewhat limited).  A couple of years ago this program was rated as one of the oughest programs in the country (it was being compared to associate degree programs).  Just about everyone is on a mandatory study program, the number of hours you get assigned depend on you but I would expect at least 20 hours per week.  Problem is all studying has to be done in the school house as the information is classified.

    Good luck!  This program has a lot of rewards for those that finish it.

  3. Don't know anything about NNPTC, but I've been to Charleston many times and it rocks!
