  1. Upgrade to a colour television

  2. What other colours do you want to see, Red, Green, Blue .....?

  3. Ask Tony Gonzalez, or Munoz. Heck, the entire Tuiasasopo family played American ball. And plese don't forget Dat Nguyen.

  4. Well, that's as diverse as it gets, blacks and whites. What other colours were you hoping   for?

  5. Well, you're probably only watching the NFL.  If you were to watch high school football, you would see that all races and ethnicities play the game.

But at the highest levels size matters a lot.  Someone else mentioned Dat Nguyen, a linebacker who was born (I think...at least his parents were) in Vietnam.  He was huge by Vietnamese standards, but smallish by NFL standards.

There have been a handful of other Asians...a couple of Korean linemen come to mind, along with old-school quarterback Roman Gabriel (Filipino) and Rams linebacker Brandon Chillar (Indian).  Again...size matters (well, my wife assures me that it doesn't, but I think she's just being polite.)

Likewise, there have been a number of people of Mexican extraction in the NFL (Tony Gonzales, Anthony Munoz and Max Montoya, Tom Flores, Jeff Garcia, Jim Plunkett, ), but they tend to be smaller people on average.

There have been plenty of polynesians...probably well in excess of their proportion of the population.  You'll find Hawaiians, Samoans, Tongans, even the odd Maori.

There have even been a few Middle Eastern players in the NFL over the years.  Shar Pourdanesh and TJ Houshmandzadeh are Persian. Tunch Ilkin is Turkish.  Rich Kotite, Jeff George, and Gibran Hamdan are all Arabs

But as I said, it comes down to size...whites and blacks are simply much more likely to produce the sorts of behemoths that play in the NFL.  Polynesians are too, but there just aren't that many of them.

That said, as immigration continues from Mexico and Asia, you may expect to see more NFL players from those places in the future.

  6. Not many other colours to choose from dude.  The NFL actually has players from all over the world.  Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Africa, Samoa, Europe, Asia.... all over.  The fact that most are white/black Americans probably has a bit to do with the fact that the game is from America.  Weird how that happens!

Even with their diverse population, it is unlikely that a kid growing up in a Swedish household in the U.S. is going to have his parents influence him towards Football... well not American Football anyways.

I suspect this question was not really meant as a question.  I also dont know why it is in the Rugby section.

  7. How many other colours does the human race come in? Purple? Skin is all shades of white and black and everything in between.....
