Markets for wives commonly shown in documentaries and in the news are mostly an Asian thing, they simply don't exist in Brazil and, from my experience, even where they exist, usually ... er... prospectors are most of times victims or perpetrators of cons of all sorts.

So it leaves you to the option of going to Brazil and finding a girlfriend with whom you'll eventually marry.

Learning some basic Portuguese (and using babelfish too!) will be very helpful.

With some luck, you could start a relationship of sorts on the internet and, when you go to Brazil, perhaps you will already have found your better half.
