Question:

I'm from Singapore. Why don't people realise home-based internet jobs don't work?

Not in Singapore. I don't think the surveys and paid-to-surf websites pay to people who are living outside USA. Because their cheques are all in US dollars. And each survey is probably US$5 only, so if you specially open an American bank account here just to collect the money, I don't think it's worth it. And I think they don't send cheques to Singapore or other countries, so unless you know someone staying in the USA whom you can use their mailing address. So this is practically impossible.

Don't be taken in by those internet home-based jobs. There is no such thing as making money online in Singapore. They are all scams which often cheat you of the registration fee. As for the PaidTheFastest website, I have checked it out. They do not require registration fee, but they only pay in US cheques or through paypal. So it is impossible. Paypal has no Singapore retailers participation. So it is impossible to ship the USA goods to Singapore. Unless you are willing to pay for exorbitant shipping charges. Don’t be stupid. As for job hunting, I am not very sure, because I am currently jobless too, since early July.

Anyone thinks otherwise? That home-based internet jobs work for Singaporeans staying in Singapore?

  1. Make Money Online. It works with Google, Yahoo, Amazon, Ebay. This business does work with Singapore.

Every business needs this patent pending software. It puts their business on the first page of Google for every keyword searched. Great to market to businesses, you earn $1 everytime they give away the software and you also get $1 every time you give away the software. After you get a few businesses enrolled you can really start to make a good income.

  2. You are right. It is stupid. But there are suckers all over the place and people who are willing to take advantage of them.

  3. it's my experience-ratna

my parents are not allowing to go for internet-based work be'coz they are not sure about the knowledge for eg: salary payment, legal suggestions, work timings.

  4. Home based jobs do work if YOU work.  I am not saying they are all legit.  Most will state where they are operating in.  If they do not operate in Singapore, then it wont work for you.

All that being said, the turnover rate is on average with all other industries, 90% fail or quit within the first 6 - 12 months.  Those that fail are not necessarily lazy, they just prefer having things handed to them instead of working for them.

  5. People are lazy and want to believe that they can get rich quick while staying at home and having "something" happen on the internet.  They want to believe it so bad, they pay for programs that are supposed to get them rich quick.  Selling such scams is the only real way to get rich quick, I think
