Do you say awesome? what for words are cool?

Maybe stars do it to take attention saying, "You know something.' and everyone looks around him thinking its something important. And you just blow them all away by saying "Oh, forget it." This is common in LA

They say cool! And awesome! And phrases like : "That totally rocks!", "That is so cool", "Wow, isn't it just amazing?!". Cool, I would say is the generic word, like "geil" in German!
