I'm from the US, and I'd like to work in the UK. What is the process?

I'm in the IT industry and I'd really like to land a job in the UK, the closer to London the better really, but anywhere would be great.

How can I locate a company?

What do I have to do to get visa's etc?

there might be conventions in your area , there was for me when i was looking into new zeland however i live in the UK.

a good way of getting in is to have a skill which the country needs, sadly IT is not one of them. plumbing is however.

another possible way is to get a job here then you can put that on a visa application form.

also if you have any relatives in this country that might help as well.

hi mate, im english and if you arrive in the back of a lorry and dont speak english you'll be right in. they even normally throw in a house and car. good luck mate and just remember the phrase '' me speak no english''
