I'm getting 2 dollors an hour and babysitting from7:30 to 4:30 in the evening how should I get more money....

you need to ask for more money to babysit!!! 2 dollars is nothing u might as well not charge them anything!! how old are you?!?! if u are 15 or older u can easily be getting 10 an hour!!!!!! i live in CT and the going rate is 10-13 an hour

2 dollars!!! You have to raise your hourly wage because your pretty much working for free! Or get a job other than baby-sitting even if its only part time

Simply explain that you can&#039;t really do anything w/ $2 an hour (and you can&#039;t) and ask for it.

I would simply say (in a polite, business-like manner):

I just wanted to let you know that my rates are going up. I am now charging 5$ an hour. (or whatever you are charging.) I will charge the new rate starting this Friday.

Then change the subject to how wonderful their kids were that day and all the fun things you did with them.

WOW! $2/hour! ARE YOU CRAZY! thats insane! go get a job at the mall where you actually make minimum wage..plus you get a discount at the store you work at....you&#039;re getting played! I would quit!

what are you doing with the kids....if it&#039;s like just watching them then 2-4 dollars may be enough ,but if your feeding them and taking them baths and all then I consider 8-11 dollars per hour.

It all depends on how old you are. There are limitations on how much (and where) you can work as a young teen. Talk to your mom and dad and let them know you would like a bigger allowance. They might listen.
