I'm getting a 360...should I get Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4?

I'm getting an Elite...and one game...which one should I get Halo or Call of Duty 4? I've never played either(only Halo 3 once)...which has better online and graphics? Which will give me the most fun?

Personally I prefer COD4 because I am a huge fan of it. But, it's a great game. The single player is short but fun. And, I will bet you a 100 bux if you dont get addicted to the multiplayer. It's out of this world. MULTIPLAYER IS AWESOME, like beyond awesome. You will love it

well to start off halo sucks u you should get call fo duty 4 becasue it has the best online ever and halos is good but its very confusing and the graphics suck call of duty one so many awards for thiers graphics and thier online is the best halo has do get new maps every month to get people to still play it but the maps arent any good becasue the graphics suck and there like 10 $ dolloars a piece so in the long run u will spend so much money one halo and cod4 only has one new map pack concluding that all my friends who were halo fans switch to play call of duty 4 becase everyone who is good at halo is like 40 years old and the sit in there moms basement playing 24/7 so u cant beat them and u can like hide in walls because bungie and make glitch free maps like the creators of call of duty

AWW this is a no-brainer go for Halo 3, you should know how fun it is. COD4 is okay.

Get Call of Duty 4

It has an amazing online.(Server kinda sucks with "connection interupted" signs than match ends OR you randomly sign out ur PSN

Even though the online is still INCREDIBLE

The Campaign mode is short though REALLY FUN!

and splitscreen is lots of fun

And yes it does have better multiplayer than Halo 3(i cant stop playing LOL)

To be exact the most fun ever multiplayer!!

Halo has ok single player though icredible online

u know to be 4real there both nice games and iam sure u can find both for the price of one new game or little bit over around 70 for both used

go for that

halo  is wounderful game u can go hardcore or have fun . and it nice game for new owners to have because i i believe it one  of the top games that u can make friends on for new people

cod4 is nice but u wont make many friends or really 1 or 2  it nice fast pace game

it has better grahpics if u wanna go down that path but u gotta relise halo  games are like a carton cross over in real so it gonna have that cartoony feeling . cod4 gos down that path of real all the time so it has best graphics but dont jugde all games on there graphics untill u find out the type of game it is

Well I own both and they are both very good games.  It depends on what you are looking for.

Halo 3:

-slower pace

-more variety in types of games

-colorful graphics,more dimensional

-vehicles

Call of Duty 4:

-faster action paced

-more detailed darker graphics

-more weapons

I personally think you should Halo 3  because there is just more content to play with more overall stuff to do.

get call of duty 4. halo 3 is fun but not long lasting fun. call of duty 4 has an online ranking system that makes u have to get levels up to unlock certain weapons and equipment. also it has many challenges so u have other things to try and accomplish. also there are custom classes so u can make ur own class to ur liking. there is also a prestige mode so even if u unlock all of the guns and completed all of the challenges and think there is nothing left to do, u can go into prestige mode and start all over again. i have been playing the online ever since it came out last christmas.

COD 4 has better graphics, but real graphics is really not the point of halo... the plot of the game is not exactly real-life...

halo has better online playlists and maps, and instead of automatically staying with all the people in the old game, you can party up after the game.

in short, buy halo used at gamestop, and then save up for COD4 after, unless you can buy both...

PS: that was all about online, if you like single-player, i have been a halo fan since the 1st game, but i honestly liked COD4 single player better... halo 2 had the best single player replay value.

Did someone just say Halo's graphics suck? What kind of TV do you have..?

I would get Halo 3. To me, Halo 3 has so much more replay value to it, and is just overall more fun. Cod4 is fun for a while, but you constantly have people who use cheap tactics and guns to win (This can be somewhat avoidable in Halo 3, since everyone STARTS with the same weapon).

Well for one thing, in my opinion, PS3's are better because you can play online for free. Yes a PS3 doesnt have Halo but it does have COD.

So what im tryin to say is get COD 4

don't get halo 3 unless you have live! halo 3 is so repetitive if you dont have good multiplayer action it dosent offer the good situtations as the first and second halo. i would call it a shooter with no brainer game halo 3 has better online graphics and iw ould say it would only be more funner than COD4 if you have live enabled oh and you have to have gold live not silver or bronze gold is the only package that includes online multiplayer
