I'm getting a PSP and i need to know how to get iTunes music onto my psp.?

you cant do that just get limewire or rhapsody and download music from there

So do you buy songs on itunes? If you do I think it is not possible to put music on the psp because the songs are locked. But if you get your music from another source and put it in itunes to make a library it is another thing. So when you connect your psp to your computer go to Settings and USB Connection. Usually when you connect the psp it pops up a window but if it doesn't just go to my computer and double click through the removable disks. If you clicked on the right one it will go to another window. in there just drag and drop the songs or make a folder called music and drag and drop the songs there.

You can not do this through itunes your songs are locked. But for other formats all you do is connect your psp to your computer via USB cable and turn your PSP to USB mode and it will show up on your computer, what you do is you open up the PSP (either disk E, or F) and you will see 4 folders (MUSIC, PHOTO, GAME, SAVE DATA, and EXTRA)

click and open the MUSIC folder and you can copy and paste the music to your memory stick.

Also if you have a PS3 you can also transport Music from your PS3 to PSP. You can either connect them (wirelessly or through a USB cable and just copy) or if you have a 60/80 GB PS3 you can insert your memory stick in it and copy the music to the memory stick.

Make sure also your PSP is up to date, as of today the lastest software is version 4.05. To check this on your PSP go to Settings and scroll down to System Settings and go to System Information and check it.

You can update your PSP through your home wireless connection or through your PC. (PC via USB cable)

It is very simple to install. Sorry it's a bit long but thats pretty much it, but also remember to never turn your system off in middle of and update. And hope this helps with your new PSP. And heres the link for official PSP site where you can check for new updates. (www.us.playstation.com/psp)

And to put movies just go to the following link (www.google.com/videos) and go to whatever video you want to download and once download open your PSP and connect it to your computer via USB cable and open up the PSP and go to the Folder titled VIDEO and copy and paste your videos.

go to limewire

download your selected music

go into your PSP folder called MUSIC

(you have to format the memory stick first)

insert USB cable, go into USB connection

select your memory stick/ hard drive

click and drag your music into the MUSIC folder

go to music on your PSP system

and it should be there
