  1. here r some helpful things 4 u =)

Q: Does the Xbox 360 Arcade play Xbox 360 games?

A: Yes, otherwise it would not be an Xbox 360.

Q: Then why is it called the "Arcade"?

A: Thats because its marketing focus was on Arcade games and since it is bundled with 5 Arcade games.

Q: Can you play original Xbox titles on the Arcade?

A: Yes and No. It does support original Xbox titles but you need to buy the hard drive since it does not come with one.

Q: Is it technologically low spec compared to the other 360 models?

A: No, it has identical internal tech specs as the other 360's. Only difference is that less accessories are bundled in and the DVD tray is White instead of Chrome.

    Q: How much is it?

A: It is currently 279.99 US dollars.

Q: How is it HD, there are no HD cables?

A: Microsoft did not include HD cables in the Arcade to make the price lower. You can buy HD cables separately such as the Component/Composite cables for 39.99 US dollars and the HDMI/Optical RCA pack for 49.99 US dollars

  2. In My Opinion Don't get the arcade search for a 20gb model of the xbox 360. You pay an extra ohh i say 30 dollars and you get what the arcade does, but instead you will have a hard drive, composite cables, a wireless headset, only downer is no arcade games.

It should run you at 300.00 Dollars, That's pretty much a bargain for the Hard drive. Not any hard drive works only the ones xbox produces work.

  3. Yes, by attaching the Harddisc to the Arcade you would be able to play original Xbox 1 games.

Not any harddrive will work. You will need the original Xbox harddrive accessory.

Please keep in mind, that by buying the console and harddisc seperately, you will pay *more* than by buying the Pro model directly.

Furthermore, the Pro model has the added bonus, that you get a HDTV capable AV cable (Arcade only has a SDTV Cable), a headset and an ethernet cable together with the harddrive.

If you wait a few weeks, you will also be able to buy a 60GB Pro Model for the price of the current 20GB model.

So I would really recommend against buying an Arcade and the HDD seperately.

As for Live: Do you mean the Live Gold Membership or do you mean the (free) Live service altogether?

The console will need a download in addition to the HDD to play Xbox 1 games.

But you can also download the program to your PC, burn it on a disc and update your Xbox 360 that way if the Xbox 360 can't connect to the Internet or Live.

  4. it just clicks right on.

well the hardrive need to be for Xbox 360 obviously, i don't know how many GB each hard drive has i would assume they sell the 20GB hard drive.

any store like wal-mart or best buy should sell them and live doesn't make a difference.
