So, my hair has pretty much been the same the whole time I've been in high school. But for awhile I wanted to get it cut. My hair now isn't plain or anything...its black with different shades of brown for highlights. I was thinking of getting one of the following:

1. Plain Layers to make my hair look more full and bounce

2. A Razor Cut to stand out

3. Some kind of cut that is shorter in the back than the front, with layers

Keep in mind I have VERY thick african american hair and I'm getting this change for the first time and I don't know whether to play it safe and get the plain layers or go all out and do number 3?

  1. I say go with 1 because you can get a lot of variety out of your hair.

  2. you could do a razor cut and take out a lot of bulk with that and still add layers

  3. Well any kind of blunt cut will look bad, because of your hair texture and you say its thick. I would suggest 3 but have it cut with a razor. It will be beautiful.
