I'm getting a filling tomorrow i'm scared help!

Question

I'm getting a filling tomorrow from a cavity ive had a filling before but I havn't had it in so long. I'm scared. I forget what they do. I remember putting this thing over my mouth, laughing gas I think? I'm just scared and I don't want it to hurt please help.

Having a filling it self doesn't hurt.  You do have to have your mouth open for awhile but its no big deal.  Are you having laughing gas this time? If so you will not even care whats going on.  You will be relaxed.  I am a EFDA and I do fillings everyday.  There fine.  The injection you need to make you numb doesn't feel good, but that goes away right away.  Its really fast.   You will be fine.  Just try and relax, don't worry about it.

doesnt hurt at all! I would do it again anytime!

They might numb your tooth, depends, but not at all painful.

they kind of drill in your tooth then use a paint brush to paint on the clear filling, then sand the edges if the filling to smooth it off.

Like I said I would do it again if I had to no questions asked! :)
