I need some coping strategies to get through school tomorrow, and then through getting my spacers off, braces in, etc. Anything that can calm me down would be appreciated.

  1. Don't worry everything will be fine!

Going back to school can be scary but you'll be fine. Be yourself and don't worry about what people say!

Spacers are easily removed. They just pop, pop, pop 'em off. It's easy and painless.

Yes, I won't lie braces can be really sore the first week or so. But you'll survive! Just take an Advil before and after you get your braces on or off. Orajel is also a good thing. It numbs you so you aren't so sore. Eat soft foods and ice cream. You'll go great.

  2. omg, nearly everyone second teenager wears braces now.

u shouldnt care what anyone else says-braces improve your teeth, and u will get them off after some time.

its nothing to be scared about!(:

i got my braces off on thursday, and i wore them for nearly a year.

im very happy with my teeth,; )

  3. don't be scared, they are not that bad and just think of how nice you will look with your million  dollar smile !!!

i am 42 years old and wish i has insurance to get them now,

what i would do for a pretty smile!!

    you are so lucky!!!

  4. Relax! :) Braces really are not that bad - I've had them since mid-June! My advice is to take a pain reliever before you go to your appointment, & you will hardly feel anything. Really, on the pain scale, it was about a 3 getting them on, and then maybe a 5 the day after. Just eat soft foods the first couple days, & take an Aleve every few hours. & remember: YOU WILL BE FINE. :) Best of luck!
